Welcome to Virginia’s world famous Technology in Education conference. Whether you are a first-time attendee or a seasoned veteran you will find the conference full of information ready to take back to your school or workplace.

No walk-in registrations are permissible. 

PLEASE NOTE: Using this tool to mark your personal scheduling preferences does not reserve a seat for marked sessions, nor does it register you for the conference.

We do not plan to have paper programs available on site. If you would like a printed program, please print a personal copy prior to arriving at the conference.

Tina Coffey is an Instructional Technology Resource Teacher for Roanoke County Schools, in Roanoke, Virginia. She has spent twenty-six years in public-school education, the last nineteen as an Instructional Technology Resource Teacher. In this role, she works with teachers at three schools in Roanoke County, helping them learn to use and integrate technology into their classrooms through inservices, small group training, and co-teaching. She also teaches teacher recertification and technology classes at Virginia Western Community College. Tina holds a Master of Arts in Curriculum and Instruction from Virginia Tech and bachelor’s degree from Emory & Henry College. She presents at various local, state, and regional conferences. Currently, she serves on the VSTE Board of Directors representing Region 6 and is the co-chair of the Education Committee. Tina is passionate about STEM activities, Project Based Learning, Makerspaces, Computer Science, and other technology and hands-on methods to engage students, make learning relevant, and promote global literacy. In her free time, Tina can often be found hiking sections of the Appalachian trail, kayaking on the New River, camping at a Virginia State Park, crafting, or hanging out with her family and friends.
