Welcome to Virginia’s world famous Technology in Education conference. Whether you are a first-time attendee or a seasoned veteran you will find the conference full of information ready to take back to your school or workplace.

No walk-in registrations are permissible.

We do not plan to have paper programs available on site. If you would like a printed program, please print a personal copy prior to arriving at the conference.

Swimming with STEM through Children's Literature

Rapunzel, Rumplestiltskin, a troll and other literary characters will introduce participants to the fun to be had with integrating STEM challenges. All of the 4 C's will be used as participants discover how coding, task challenges, and projects can be integrated with children's books and their characters. The presenters will share their experiences with utilizing the Media Center Makerspace Resource Center as the hub of all of the fun. STEM challenges and activities and materials lists for 7 Folk Tales will be shared.
