Surf into Blended Learning in the K-3 Classroom

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Transform your primary classroom by surfing into blended learning. Through the use of Project Based Learning, one to one technology, G-Suite and Wixie; your students will be engaged and on their way to learning 21st century skills. During this session attendees will learn that their primary students (K-3) are never too young to begin blended learning. Attendees will learn strategies for the successful implementation of Blended Learning and Project Based Learning (PBL). They will hear about the transformation of my own first grade classroom, as well as how blending technology with PBLs has increased the engagement of all students. Attendees will be given examples of a PBL with technology blended throughout. Just as learning to surf takes practice and determination, so does the transformation of our classrooms. While things may be messy at first, persistence and growth-mindset can change what is happening in our primary classrooms. Our primary students are capable of “Surfing the Digital Wave”.
