Digital Citizenship for Social Media Savvy Students and Parents

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

The goal of this session would be to provide the attendees with a clear outline of what goes into a presentation for students/parents on the topic of Digital Citizenship, and more specifically social media. We will discuss technical aspects, provide students/parents with ideas of how to proactively protect themselves, complete activities that show can offer the students a paradigm shift about how they view themselves online, and share some anecdotes that drive home the point. We have been doing this for years and have presented to thousands of students and would like to share what we have learned.
