Helping ELLs shred the Daily 5

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Everyone knows that elementary ELL students need extra support in reading, writing, speaking, and listening daily. But, how do get the most out of your of Daily 5? Catch the digital wave by flipping the classroom! You, and your students, will be stoked to do Language Arts every day! Learn how to get the most out of your students by shredding the Daily 5 routine through appsmashing. We will show you how your students can become independent learners, improve parent-teacher-student communication, and increase student engagement! Give your students the practice they need in the 4 WIDA domains of reading, listening, writing, and speaking every day so they can make progress and get cranking in Language Arts. Whether you are 1:1, BYOD, or only have access to a few devices, we can show you ways to make technology work for ALL students and get the most out of your Kindles, iPads, and traditional desktops/laptops. While this session is geared towards ESOL teachers, anyone that teaches Prek-5 can appsmash in the classroom! Come join us as we explore ways to get your students engaged, creating, and collaborating. Appsmashing and ELLs...totally awesome!
