I USED to Hate to Write

Many students struggle with language and writing skills. Help these students experience success and develop their language skills by using elements of visual storytelling to supplement and enhance their writing in all content areas. This presentation will provide an overview, including how to obtain educational accounts, of free or low-cost software which can be used to inspire your students to write or used as an alternative assessment in content classrooms. Programs being discussed include Storybird, Pixton for Schools, LucidPress, and more. Lesson plans and ideas for using these programs in all content areas will be shared.
