No walk-in registrations are permissible.

Video Games: Distraction or Teaching Tool?

In this session we’ll discuss the pros and cons of using video games as a teaching tool and vehicle for learning. Ideas, lessons, tips, and tricks will be shared on ways to productively capitalize on childrens' love of video games while providing strategies to keep it structured around learning in a wide range of content areas. We’ll discuss programs, apps, and maker-tools that provide great opportunities for student learning in a form they are easily excited about.
