Too Young for Coding? Nonsense!

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Explore coding with a kindergarten teacher and an instructional technology coach who have worked together to inspire primary age teachers and students to incorporate coding with ease! Learn how we became facilitators and allowed students to take ownership of their learning. We will take a tour of some amazing resources that we have compiled that feature unplugged coding activities and provide ideas on how to get students started coding using Scratch Jr. and PBS Kids Scratch Jr. You will leave our session feeling confident to incorporate coding into your classroom in all areas curriculum! Don’t miss out on this primary grades session that will leave you wondering why you haven’t tried this sooner!
