Leveraging Technology to Support Mindfulness in the Classroom

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Mindfulness techniques in the classroom provides students the opportunity to refocus and reset during the busyness of the school day. In addition, mindfulness activities can help students develop skills to manage emotions as well as their responses to challenges. This session will address the why, how, and when for promoting mindfulness in the classroom. Participants will leave with a variety of strategies and technology tools, as well as a better understanding of why purposeful pauses in the school day can support student learning and the classroom environment.
