Using Desmos to make Math more Interactive

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Desmos is a free online-graphing tool that teachers can bring into the classroom to help math come alive. Activities that were once done on a hand-held calculator can be brought online so that students have to worry less about the calculator steps and can discover more about the math. In this session, we will focus on how Desmos can be used in High School math courses to help enhance the student learning through discovery and practice. We will learn basic information needed in order to create learning activities for students and explore the pre-made lessons that teachers can use as well.
