Have you ever wondered how to provide your school system with better Tech PD? Feeling constrained by a shoestring budget and limited staffing? Say no more! This session will show you how to make a plan for a one day Tech Professional Development session that gets people excited, creates a sense of community and raises interest for very little cost and limited human power. Find out how we transitioned in just 2 years from a week long, low interest summer training camp to Techstravaganza, a single day event attracting almost 1/3 of our teachers, admin and staff with 60+ sessions, food trucks, door prizes and giveaways. This presentation will include discussion of subjects like:

- Scheduling sessions
- Recruiting presenters from outside of your IT team
- Attracting sponsors
- Creating an engaging theme
- Dos, Don’ts, Tips and Tricks
