Making Waves with Tech Bytes

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Professional Development for teachers can be a hassle, and it starts with long sessions and a lack of consideration for scheduling. It doesn't have to be that way though! See how one ITRT takes a "byte" out of this struggle with Tech Bytes, a professional development program that features a variety of PD each month in short, (mostly) 1:1 sessions. Scheduling for Tech Bytes depends on the teacher's schedule, and give the teacher the freedom to pick times that work best for them. Tech Bytes is also adaptable to any level. Learn how to weave Google Forms and Sheets into the mix to maximize connections, and learn how relationships are still key to developing good professional development. Attendees will have access to templates for Google Forms, including one for teacher evaluations of PD. This session is meant for anyone who provides professional development to teachers and staff who would like to find a new way to meet staff needs. This session meets the TSIP standards for being a lifelong learner and continuing to improve one's pedagogy and to grow as an individual.
