How often do students sit in class only to consume information instead of creating it? Google Slides are best known for their use as creative presentation tools but in reality, they can do much more. In this session, participants will learn how Google Slides can be used for students to create their own content and have collaborative experiences. Participants will explore a variety of examples such as collaborative slides (within and beyond the school building), choose your own adventure, stop motion, and manipulative projects. Utilizing Google Slides in this manner will both deepen understanding and provide students with new ways to demonstrate learning. A basic understanding of Google Slides is suggested.
