We spend so much time designing interactive learning activities for online courses, but how do we know our students really learning? Through the lens of Cognitive Presence operationalized through the Practical Inquiry Model, we will take a critical look at common online and blended learning activities and brainstorm ways to boost cognitive presence and student engagement.
