Do you feel like you’re treading water in a swirling sea of new educational buzzwords? The terms personalized learning, personalized practice, deeper learning,  Open Educational Resources (OER), competency-based education, and performance assessment have become part of our educational vernacular, but what do they mean and how what is the connection to the power of teaching and learning?  As technology leaders and classroom educators we must cipher through the trends and focus on the practices that will make the biggest difference in the classroom.  This session will focus on how you can merge various practices and utilize existing resources to navigate murky waters in order to leverage technology in ways that help us work smarter and not harder.  Come discover how blended learning can aid educators in successfully surfing the digital wave rather than simply treading the water.
