Hang Ten with Authentic Assessment in the Blended Classroom

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Bored of the same repetitive review activities? Tired of the same quotidian quizzes? Then come to this session and learn how to create authentic assessments utilizing instructional technology. We will learn how to make poignant pre-assessments using Google Forms, fun formative assessments using Padlet and Google Drawings, remarkable review guides using HyperDocs, and stellar summative assessments using Screencasts. While the examples are from middle and high school language arts classrooms, middle school and high school teachers of all subjects will benefit from this session. Time will be given to create an authentic assessment under guided supervision. Please bring ear buds and a device.
