It matters little else what you teach a child if you don't first teach them to read. Children need to have a mastery of foundational literacy skills by the time they reach third grade and begin reading to learn, instead of learning to read. It's typically around this time those gaps in learning start to show, so it's important to not only identify and address those gaps, but prevent them from ever emerging.

JOIN US TUESDAY AT 11:15 FOR OUR SESSION - EMPOWERING TEACHER EFFECTIVENESS: LEXIA'S 3 STEP APPROACH, OR STOP BY OUR BOOTH

Lexia Core5 Overview:
We use a blended learning model, based on the Orton-Gillingham method, to deliver independent online literacy instruction to PK-5 students of all abilities, differentiated and personalized to provide additional support when needed.
Our embedded progress monitoring delivers actionable data to teachers, with offline resources to deliver face-to-face instruction on specific skills each student might struggle with. From this progress monitoring, we can predict with over 90% accuracy at the beginning of the year, how likely each of your students are to meet end-of-year grade-level benchmarks for English.
Lexia PowerUp Overview:
Designed to help students in grades 6 and above become proficient readers and confident learners. PowerUp helps educators simultaneously address gaps in fundamental literacy skills while helping students build the higher-order skills they need to comprehend, analyze, evaluate, and compare increasingly complex literary and informational texts. Blending online student-driven explicit instruction with offline teacher-delivered lessons and activities, Lexia PowerUp empowers secondary teachers—regardless of their background or expertise in reading—to deliver the exact instruction each student needs to become a proficient reader.
