I have spent 16 years as an ITRT at the secondary level. In that time, there have been remarkable changes in student and teacher access to technology tools. ITRTs have spent too much time on the tools, and there is a desperate need for PD that moves away from the tools to how to use the tools to improve learning outcomes. We must leverage our PD opportunities to bring instruction and technology together.
