Computer Science Specialist
Tim Ellis is the Computer Science Specialist at the Virginia Department of Education. He is a former high school teacher with Chesterfield County Public Schools. As a teacher, he focused on increasing participation and enthusiasm in students who would've otherwise not considered learning about Computer Science. The CS program at his school saw monumental growth going from 1 section of classes to 7. He has served as an AP reader, helped develop curriculum for Chesterfield, and loves just chatting about CS!
